SealPlate® film tape minimize evaporation, prevent spillage, and contamination between wells, and provide a secure seal, not just a cover. Secure sealing of all wells eliminates evaporation in sensitive ELISA assays, especially from the outer wells of the plate, called the "edge effect". SealPlate® films can also be used with tissue culture plates for short therm storage, incubation, and containment of biohazards. SealPlate® films are non-piercable (for piercable film, see our EZ-Pierce #ST-6094/#ST-6095).
