Note, these Glass Fiber Filters are packaged non-sterile. For sterile applications, these prefilters will need to sterilized by autoclaving prior to use. Prefilters should be sterilized in an autoclavable Self-Seal Pouch with sterilization indicator, such as our Catalog #P-SS1.

CELLTREAT Vacuum Filter Systems and bottle top filters are ideal for large volume sample separation and purification. The filter systems are manufactured in a Class 100,000 clean room, from USP class VI virgin polystyrene. The filter membrane is Polyethersulfone (PES) material in 0.22µm or 0.45µm pore sizes for rapid flow rate and low protein binding. The filter units are available in 150ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1,000ml sizes and are individually packaged in easy to open plastic bags with individually wrapped caps.
