ΩmegaGel Agarose Precast Mini-Gels, designed for high resolution separation of nucleic acids, produces sharp DNA and RNA bands with extremely low background interference. Gels are cast from standard melting/gelling agarose (LE) to assure the highest resolution and reproducibility. These precast mini-gels are equipped with a specially designed UV-transparent polymer cassette tray allowing for easy processing of samples from sample loading the gel to photography eliminating potential damage from gel handling. All precast mini-gels are packaged in individual foil sealed packs to assure the highest quality and integrity.
These Ωmega Agarose Precast Mini-Gels are in a portrait format. Gel thickness for gels is 6.0mm. All mini-gels include ethidium bromide, 0.5μg/ml (Red SYBR-Safe™ available, inquire) in 1% and 3% gels cast with 0.5X TBE buffer.
Mini-Gel's portrait format are compatible with most gel boxes including Bio-Rad®Mini-Sub®, Hoefer Minnie the Gel-Cicle®, Life Technologies Horizon 58®, and Labnet units. We also carry larger multi-channel compatible High-Throughput (HT) 25, 32 and 50 well gels which are compatible with large gel boxes, including OWL’s Millipede® and Centripede®, Bio-Rad®,and FisherBioTech® FB-SB-2318.
