GUARANTEED CELLTREAT QUALITY
CELLTREAT™ Cultureware integrity undergoes a 'double QC integrity testing process' to assure the highest quality, reliability and performance. A "Quality Certificate is provided with every product and specific to each lot number combining both compliance and assurance information to guarantee sterility (gamma irradiated) and freedom of pyrogens and non-cytotoxicity, RNase, DNase, and DNA. The "Quality Certificate" includes the Part Number, Lot Number, Sterility Assurance level and Dosage, Endotoxin/Pyrogen Free Assurance, Non-Cytotoxicity Assurance, and RNase/DNase Free Assurance.
Products are produced from USP class VI virgin polystyrene to assure flat and striation-free surfaces to maximize growth and transparency. All CELLTREAT products are manufactured in Class 100,000 clean rooms and certified to be ISO 9001:2000.
Surfaces of CELLTREAT cultureware are available with tissue culture surface treatment and without treatment. Tissue culture treatment creates a negatively charged hydrophilic surface that is ideal for consistent cell attachment. Untreated surfaces, used for suspensions, are hydrophobic and do not facilitate cell attachment.
Tissue Culture Dishes with Gripper Ring:
The CELLTREAT tissue culture dishes, with ergonomic "serrated" gripper ring, are currently available in the following sizes: 60mm x 15mm, 70mm x 15mm, and 100mm x 20mm. (All dishes will feature the "serrated" gripper ring by July, 2011.) This 'serrated' gripping ring design, around the dish base, extends slightly beyond the lid to significantly improve handling over traditional designs. The gripper ring allows the dish to be easily handled by the dish base preventing accidental drops and simplifying the separation of the lid from the base. The dish also includes numerical clock locators (3, 6, 9, 12) molded into the base for easy division of the dish into quadrants. The dish includes molded in spacers for consistent gas exchange and stacking rings for stability when handling tall stacks of dishes. They are manufactured using the same quality materials and manufacturing processes used in Celltreat traditional tissue culture dishes.
