Ultra-Filtration Concentrator Spin Device, 500µl capacity offer a simple, one step procedure for concentrating of desalting proteins and other biomolecules with 90% to 95% or better recovery (0.5cm² active surface area).

The patented vertical membrane design and thin channel filtration chamber (U.S. Patent No. 5,647,990), minimizes membrane fouling and provides fast, high speed concentrating, even with particle laden solutions (<5µl membrane hold-up volume).
Integrated dead stop design eliminates risk of spinning to dryness, no respinning necessary (5µl dead stop volume)
Made from Polyethersulfone (PES). PES membrane provides excellent retenate recovery. PES membranes exhibit no hydrophobic or hydrophilic interactions (unlike other membranes) are preferred for their low fouling characteristics, exceptional flux, and broad pH range. Choose a MWCO 1/2 or 1/3 smaller than to be concentrated.
The MWCO and graduations are printed right on the side of the concentrator to avoid mix-ups.
Spin-X UF 500 concentrators require fixed angle rotors. Minimum rotor angle is 40°.
