Ultra-Filtration Concentrator Spin Device, 6 ml capacity offer a simple, one step procedure for concentrating of desalting proteins and other biomolecules with 90% to 95% or better recovery (2.5cm² active surface area).
Ideal for immunoglobulins, MAB, virus, and yeast.

The patented vertical membrane design and thin channel filtration chamber (U.S. Patent No. 5,647,990), minimizes membrane fouling and provides fast, high speed concentrating, even with particle laden solutions (<10µl membrane hold-up volume).
Integrated dead stop design eliminates risk of spinning to dryness, no respinning necessary (30µl dead stop volume)
Made from Polyethersulfone (PES). PES membrane provides excellent retenate recovery. PES membranes exhibit no hydrophobic or hydrophilic interactions (unlike other membranes) are preferred for their low fouling characteristics, exceptional flux, and broad pH range. Choose a MWCO 1/2 or 1/3 smaller than to be concentrated.

The MWCO and graduations are printed right on the side of the concentrator to avoid mix-ups.
Spin-X UF 6 concentrators require fixed angle rotors. Minimum rotor angle is 25°.
