FT Tips protect the User from sample contamination, and secondly they protect the Sample from pipettor aerosol contamination.

Optimum® Performance Features
FT tips contain select residue & particulate free, hydrophobic filters that completely seals liquid. Should over pipetting occur the filter will trap liquids, yet unique in that liquids are retrievable, if necessary. This allows for complete sample recovery. All FT Tips trap residues and aerosols; plus eliminate false signals.
