Polypropylene membrane syringe filters are designed to filter organic solvent-based and aqueous samples in ion chromatography and HPLC applications. They are ideal for HPLC sample preparation and low detection level analysis (<230nm). Polypropylene membrane is characterized with broad chemical compatibility, extremely low in extractable levels, and low hold-up volume.

Additional 1.0µm glass fiber profiler (borosilicate) to trap larger particulate matter in samples (up to 100ml) to enhance throughput and flow rate and to extend the life of the membrane. These glass fiber profilers are binder-free and have a low affinity for protein.

17mm diameter syringe filters are designed to replace smaller 13mm sizes, respectively. Larger diameter syringe filters provide more membrane surface area for higher throughput and faster flow rate. These larger units reduce premature clogging from particulate load, characteristic of smaller diameter units.
