Pipets contain a Superior Nylon Plug material that creates a filter barrier that eliminates aerosols, and potential back up or contamination into a pipet controller/filler device (superior to cotton-microfiber plugs).

Made from laboratory grade low density polyethylene resin (LDPE), these one-piece disposable transfer pipets are safer than standard pipets, designed with an attached bulb to reduce the danger of cross-contamination and to eliminate mouth-pipeting practices. These pipets are made from non-toxic polyethylene and are inert to most biochemicals. Polyethylene has a low affinity with low surface absorption for liquids which reduces hold-up and loss of biomolecules to the pipet's inner surface. The ends of these transfer pipets can be heat-sealed for freezing, storage, and other containment applications.
